Wiggle Lightning 12 Hour Run 2010

The Main Arena

The Morning De-Brief at 5:40am in the main marque with the heaters on.

With Eastnor Castle as a nice backdrop

What a great weekend the Wiggle 12 Hour Lightning run was, on the way down Saturday afternoon all we could see was flooded roads and dark gray skies just 12 hours away from an off road circuit. The only good news we had was that the weather forecast was for sunny dry day ahead.Pat and the team got some huge gas heaters to warm the main food marquee which was nice im sure for people getting back from a cold lap. so after getting up to a frozen tent the race started at 6am, but the weather was perfect cold but perfect as the sun rose up over the Malvern hills its looked promising.
Towards the end of the race with everything going to plan and no rain the last runner came through just after 7PM just in time to get some podiums done in the dark.

Wiggle Enduro 6 Hour 2009

Back from a sunny weekend at Catton Park, but I got there Saturday morning ready to get the pictures for the Thunder run and for a second i thought I might actually be seeing some thunder. The heavens opened for the first hour before the race and i though oh no its going to be a mud bath, but the ground was so dry it didn't even touch it.Then after then Thunder run had set off i was a little shocked to see people lining up on the start line with their dogs? Im sure this is cheatingSo after the run it was time to get the bike out and go for a ride around the course, but at the end of the second lap i was really enjoying the course. I asked Chris if she would mind me racing and not doing pictures for the enduro? hahaha i was soon put back in place ;)Well done to the Yeti boys taking to the podium, third in mens pairs .
